Admittedly, this probably takes a bit of organising (but bookmark it for next holidays if you can’t make it this time!) Love Home Swap is an ingenious idea much like Airbnb but instead of paying to stay with someone – you simply find a place you’d like to take a trip to, offer your place in return and voila! Cheap holiday: sorted.

Kids love food, this we know, they also love it when you include them in the fun of putting together a recipe and give them a chance to test out their chef skills. While little miss 3 will be content to watch and taste-test,  Mr. 6 or 7, will be up for the challenge of more complex tasks like separating the eggs or folding in the flour.
