We are proud to have Whole Kids, an Australian-owned organic food company, at this year’s One Fine Baby Melbourne Fair.

Whole Kids started from humble beginnings in a tiny rented house in Richmond, in inner city Melbourne. In 2005 parents to two little ones, Monica and James Meldrum, launched their first organic products and now offer the largest range of award-winning organic snacks for kids in Australia.

Eating the recommended servings of fruit and veg every day is not always easy, especially for your little ones. Incorporating healthy fruit and vegetable snacks into your little one’s diet is a fantastic way to provide them with the vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre they need.

The challenge Aussie parents are facing is finding snacks that are free from harmful food additives and synthetic preservatives. These are added ingredients to preserve the flavour and shelf life, enhance the taste, retain the moisture content or improve the appearance.

Whole Kids found that so many snack foods were marketed and advertised to kids and parents as “healthy” when a quick read of the ingredient list and nutritional panel showed the products had very little goodness at all. The aim of Whole Kids is to create a healthier and happier world for kids by un-junking our food and lives. Their products only contain the finest quality organic ingredients without any artificial colours, preservatives, flavours or other added nasties.

Whole Kids – Real Food by Real People

Whole Kids continue to create new and innovative healthy foods for kids while using their business to stand up and campaign on important social and environmental issues.

One of the many projects that Whole Kids have teamed up with is Plan International. Together they run a life-changing community partnership for kids in Cambodia. This year, the aim is to deliver 500,000 nourishing meals to school children in Cambodia.

Whenever you buy a Whole Kids product, you are not only giving your kids a healthy organic snack, you are also helping to create a real difference to the lives of these school children. A portion of every Whole Kids product sale goes directly to the initiative. So far over 357,382 breakfasts have been provided to school children in Cambodia.
