Whilst not absolutely necesary, a bassinet is certainly handy for the first few months of your baby’s life. Depending on the size of your baby and the bassinet, most can even last between 6-12 months. You will also require bedding for your bassinet. Consider getting three sets – one for your current use, one being washed and one for any emergencies.
