There are so many ways to style and theme a baby room but one of our favourite distinct styles in the Boho, Retro, Vintage inspired theme (yes - you read that right!)

In today's edit we've combined all themes to bring you some helpful products and tips about what you need to create this look. Mood Board Central

We scoured the internet looking for examples of this Boho / Retro / Vintage inspired theme and we just kept landing back on the amazing Banabae so we thought we'd make an example out of them. They know what they are doing and are killing it in the styling stakes here!

Start with the basics

The hard furnishings are what define the room's style and also play a crucial part in that all important budget! Here are a few bassinets and cots we think are the most important for a nursery and suit the vintage inspired nursery.

Bassinets and Cots

 Change Table

One of the most undervalued but oh-so-important items in a nursery in the change table, which does all the heavy lifting. Storage and height are things to look for as protecting your back when changing your baby is one of the most important things you can do. We love how this Teeny Change by Incy Interiors table is open and you can see where everything is and how much you have left, and most importantly, before you run out of nappies.

Soft furnishings for the finishing touches!

Styling your baby girl's nursery is where it all comes together. Think soft furnishings that add character to the room. We have outlined a few ideas below for bedding and decor like soft rugs, wall art, mobiles and play gyms.

Bedding

Cosy bedding including cot sheets, blankets and swaddles map out the cots style. Choosing a feature colour or print can really help to set the tone of the room like the range from Banabae or Goldie and Ace with some more neutral palettes from Go To Bed, and 7pm Linen

Art for your wall

Wall art for nurseries is an inexpensive way to make a huge impact on your room. It's definitely an easy DIY task that anyone can do, and at the end of it you feel really proud of yourself! From basic stickers like stars, moons and flowers to full wall decals, the options are endless.

Blankets, Swaddles and Accessories

Ooooo we do love all the cosy things and these cuddly extras just complete the rest of the room. We love these rugs, cushions, display blankets, wall art, hanging art, wall prints, play mats and the list goes on. You can see a taste below just some of the wonderful brands that are in our One Fine Baby Shop.

Clothing

We can't even deal with the clothing selection below by Goldie and Ace and Banabae - obsessed with the following styles letting parents step back in time!

5. Happy Styling!

The Retro baby room is a really fun theme to play with especially as you can bring in the vintage nursery and boho baby themes as well. At the end of the day you will be spending a lot of time in this room so all the hard work that goes into setting it up will be very rewarded on the other side.
