Why you need to get amongst 'Japandi' style for your kids room

When a child’s play rug was shown to me today and described as ‘Japandi’ style, I had an instant quizzical look on my face. I had heard of the ever popular ‘Scandi’ style, based on the minimalistic Scandinavian style trend, and knew that Japanese influence on kid’s styling was huge - but putting the two together? I didn’t know that could be a thing!

This fusion creates the perfect blend of function and form, focusing on clean lines, bright spaces, and light colors.

Along with being both minimalist and aesthetically pleasing, the functionality is a major drawcard of ‘Japandi’ design - and with the amount of popularity the style is already receiving, you’re bound to see ‘Japandi’ popping up everywhere in the coming months.
