Loved by parents since 2005 and still going strong

This Spring, Bugaboo introduces the new look Bugaboo Cameleon3 plus. The original pram has been helping families get out and explore for over 15 years and is a firm favourite thanks its versatility and ease of use. More than 1 million happy customers later, the latest version offers all the practical features parents know and love, with more styling options than ever before and a redesigned under-seat basket.

The original stroller

The first Bugaboo pram was introduced in 1999, with the idea to create a pram that’s flexible enough to go anywhere and everywhere. This was the blueprint for the Bugaboo Cameleon, which launched in 2005 and remains a firm favourite with parents all over the world.

Chief Design Officer Max Barenbrug explains: “We want parents to feel free, so we gave them an all-terrain pram with large wheels and real suspension, so that they could go off-road. We gave them an independent seat, so that they could take that seat everywhere. Most importantly, we imagined all the different ways that parents might want to use their pram. From the city to the bush, through sand and snow, we ensured that they could go anywhere with the Bugaboo Cameleon3.”

One of the pram’s much-loved features is the reversible handlebar. Keep the small wheels facing forward for easy manoeuvrability in the city, then when taking on rougher terrains you can simply flip the handlebar to position the big wheels at the front. There’s even a two wheel position for an easier ride through sand and snow! Other practical details include the easy to fold for carrying or throwing into the trunk of the car and the reversible seat so you can have your child facing you or facing the world.

“The Bugaboo has lasted very well through my two boys. Could be used with a third child. Has been a great pram for all uses, on road, off road and travelling, I had no need to buy a second, smaller, lighter pram as many of my friends did.” UK owner, used for 5 years

What’s New?

Bugaboo have brought their latest colour portfolio the Bugaboo Cameleon3 plus, offering parents the opportunity to mix and match their fabrics. Parents can make it their own with a choice of three fabrics for the bassinet and seat, and eleven fabrics for the sun canopy.

There are three fabric collections to choose from: Core, Premium and Signature. Parents can opt for solid colours like neon red from the Core Collection, subtle grey mélange from the Premium Collection, or our birds printed fabric from the Signature collection.

Bugaboo believe that small things make a big difference, so they upgraded the pram’s under-seat basket to make it even more practical. The new design allows parents easier access to their things when the pram is in both the bassinet and seat configuration. The new under-seat basket can carry up to 4kg/22 litres.
